Dear colleagues,
I am pleased to share a call for Ivy+ libraries to divest from police and prisons and invest in life-giving resources. This call is part of a larger movement for police-free libraries and was written in collaboration with library workers at Ivy+ institutions. Although our work is specific to Ivy+ libraries (broadly conceived!), we think many of the things we're calling for apply to other research libraries, and to the field more broadly.
