I will add that my partner is a new co-editor of this journal, and the CFP’s references to libraries and librarians are
inspired in part by the work of this group! So please do check it out if you are at all interested.
(Side note – I encourage everyone to look into whether there is a chapter of the AAUP at your campus to join – this org is doing good work advocating for all academic workers, and for
academic freedom, including on campuses where we are legally prohibited from unionizing.)

Slightly off the topic of this list, but I believe some of you may want to consider putting in an article to the AAUP’s
Journal of Academic Freedom. Their current call for proposals seeks contributions about “the material means of mental production” and “libraries and librarians” in “times of austerity”.
