Hello Code4Lib, I am pleased to share that the Digital Preservation Outreach and Education Network (DPOE-N, https://www.dpoe.network/) seeks to *provide funding and support *to US cultural heritage professionals and institutions for digital preservation training. DPOE-N is a Mellon-funded initiative that is based at Pratt Institute and New York University’s Moving Image Archiving & Preservation Program. We are currently accepting applications for our two funding opportunities, and hope you will consider applying and/or share this exciting news with your colleagues. The first and main DPOE-N initiative offers funding for individuals in the US to seek training in the area of digital preservation <https://www.dpoe.network/professional-development-support/>. Funding can be used within a network of available professional development providers and can cover more than one workshop. DPOE-N staff are available to work with those interested in applying to develop a professional development program that fits their needs and help them with the application process. DPOE-N has also set aside a modest amount of funds for emergency hardware support <https://www.dpoe.network/emergency-hardware-support/> to US-based institutions who are stewarding digital materials that are critically endangered stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.
