The Open Preservation Foundation is pleased to announce that veraPDF 1.18 has been released. veraPDF is an open source, industry-supported PDF/A validator and part of the OPF reference toolset.

This release includes new PDF/UA-1 (Matterhorn machine) validation, as well as fixes and enhancements of the PDF parser. Thank you to the community for testing the release candidate, an additional fix to the URL validation in XMP metadata has been added in the final release. Learn more about our latest release.
