Dear Colleagues, The University of Oregon Libraries and University of Oregon Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art are seeking librarians, teaching faculty, students, museum education staff, museum and archive curators, humanities, and social science researchers to participate in the interactive remote usability study. The purpose of this study is to enhance digital exhibits that were created as part of the initiative "Leveraging GLAM Assets in Research, Teaching, and Learning: Mellon Faculty Fellowships to Advance Library-Museum Collaboration". We hope that learning about how people engage and navigate digital exhibits will guide us to create better user interface interactions for digital exhibits hosted in partnership between the University of Oregon Libraries and the University of Oregon Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art. Below is information about the research study that will take place during August-September 2021. -------------Who can participate?----------- Participants must meet the following criteria to join the study: - Must be teaching faculty, students, museum education staff, museum and archive curators, librarians, humanities and social science researchers - Must be over the age of 18 - Must have experience and access to Zoom - Complete the recruitment survey - Be available at some point during August-September 2021 to participate in a remote usability test Individuals with no to a lot of specific knowledge or experience with digital exhibits ----------How will you participate in this study?------------ If you are selected to participate then you will be invited for a one-on-one 90-minutes Zoom video call in August-September 2021. You will be asked to perform a set of short tasks on the website and share with us your feedback.
