Hi Erich,

Have you looked into the Alma Print Daemon? It has really simplified our printing with Alma.

https://developers.exlibrisgroup.com/blog/how-to-set-up-and-use-the-alma-print-daemon/

Prior to that we used a generic email account to collect the print jobs from Alma and a couple simple Outlook rules to print the letters to specific local printers (since we are using legacy printers without email addresses). Not ideal, but it worked well enough.

I would be happy to answer questions about either setup.

Cheers, Paul

Jason,

Thanks for the reply. There is some comfort in shared misery. ☺

I am sorry to say that my AEM server and my print server are both running Windows Server 2019, so if your issue is related, you aren't likely to see a resolution.

Erich

AEM is written/published by a very small group and is fiddly and we've had some hiccups, but it has generally worked.
