About the role The ideal candidate will have considerable experience working at a strategic leadership level, taking a hands-on approach to meeting the demands of this exciting role. As an engaging and enthusiastic team-player, your leadership experience will be coupled with a collaborative and inclusive approach that will empower and motivate our dedicated team. You will need to be highly-organised, financially savvy, and possess superb business acumen. Possessing a strong work ethic and sense of integrity, you will be used to working with a high degree of autonomy and possess the drive to take on a range of tasks and develop new skills as appropriate. Your exceptional communication skills will enable you to proactively build, maintain and influence a wide network of stakeholders including members, partners, and collaborators across world-leading memory institutions. A good understanding of digital preservation and/or open source practice (or the ability to rapidly get up to speed in these areas) will enable you to seek out innovative opportunities that align with our strategic goals while also ensuring that our existing commitments are met. You will have the confidence to reach out to potential new members and partners to grow the organisation.
