Andrea, we did the same thing - We manage our library hours, room reservations, study rooms, etc., through lib call, then we use the API to push that information out to our website front page, our hours page, and our University student portal, and then we created unique web pages for display on our AxisTV system in our lobby so that scheduled classes and privately booked rooms could be displayed in our coffee shop/lobby area. (All using the API)
