The Cloud Data Solutions Analyst applies advanced understanding of cloud computing to articulate a long-term vision for cloud hosting of the Libraries’ portfolio of applications
and systems. This position architects a secure, scalable, reliable, and sustainable cloud infrastructure, including network design, compute resource allocation, storage, and backup, following industry and University standards and best practices, and sets the
overall technical direction for the construction, customization, and deployment of products and services to the cloud. In addition to providing strong technical leadership to facilitate cloud adoption, DevOps culture, and engineering best practices, the Cloud
Data Solutions Analyst monitors the performance and health of applications and systems to improve availability, stability, efficiency, and capacity of systems; increases observability and reliability through logging, monitoring, alerting, and metrics; and
develops tools, automation, scripts, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to facilitate platform maintenance and operational efficiency. May supervise 1-3 engineers. Consistently demonstrates commitment to our values and promotes an organizational culture of Discovery,
