I'm writing with a reminder about our open call for new DLFdds working group co-conveners. This is a great opportunity to lead and shape a CLIR DLF community of practice and build on the international community that has been growing with our the Research Libraries UK<https://www.rluk.ac.uk/> skills share partnership. Thanks, Jason and Sara --- ORIGINAL MESSAGE --- DLF Data and Digital Scholarship working group (DLFdds) is seeking nominations and self-nominations for two new co-conveners. To nominate yourself or others, please complete this form<https://montana.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_brsIlIhsaAmEkaW> by January 7. DLFdds is a community of practice focused on implementing research data and digital scholarship services. The group focuses on shared skill development, peer mentorship, networking, and collaboration. DLFdds aims to create a self-reliant, mutually supportive community: a network of institutions and individuals engaged in continuous learning about research data management, digital scholarship, and research support. Over the past year, the group has offered 5 interactive webinars. Most recently, we have formed a collaboration with Research Libraries UK’s Digital Scholarship Network<https://www.diglib.org/building-a-transatlantic-digital-scholarship-skills-exchange-for-research-libraries-moving-forward/>, offering transatlantic skill-building tools and networking opportunities. DLFdds is an open and flexible working group, and new co-conveners have the opportunity to shape and grow the community in new ways. Current co-conveners Sara Mannheimer and Jason Clark will provide mentorship and support to new co-conveners for 6 months. Benefits * Work within a vital and leading library organization to support data services and digital scholarship. * Shape the community of practice for a set of data services and digital scholarship professionals. * Promote the important work of the community and establish a wide network for learning. * Gain valuable experience in managing and building a community. Responsibilities * Provide leadership and vision. Future directions for the group are flexible according to co-conveners’ ideas and strengths. * Plan and facilitate group meetings, webinars, and collaborative activities.
