Hi everyone,

The Public Knowledge Project is best known for Open Journal Systems (OJS), a globally high-impact web application providing workflow and publication of academic journals. If you're into open source, open access, scholarly communication, and a positive and passionate community of library-adjacent folks, have a look:

  *   Back-end software developer<https://pkp.sfu.ca/2021/12/28/pkp-is-hiring-back-end-software-developer/> (mostly PHP/SQL)
  * Scholcomm software developer<https://pkp.sfu.ca/2021/12/28/employment-opportunity-scholcomm-software-developer/> (devs who know one or more of DOI, ORCID, OAI-PMH, JATS, or related technologies)

It's remote work, virtually based out of Simon Fraser University in Canada but very international and lots of room to build your own position. If this speaks to you but your CV isn't 100% there, consider applying anyway. Applications close on January 14th!
