Registration is now open for 'Digital Preservation Workflow Webinars and COW-a-thon' taking place on 8th and 10th March 2022<https://www.dpconline.org/events/dp-workflows-cowathon-2022>

Free to attend and open to all, the Digital Preservation Workflow Webinar series will showcase just some of the digital preservation workflow processes developed and implemented by DPC Member institutions.

Each speaker will present their workflow, which represents a part of the digital preservation process or a particular digital media or content type, before we open the floor for discussion and a chance to ask questions.

  *   'Integrating digital archiving and e-thesis submission' with Leo Konstantelos, University of Glasgow
  *   'Using free and premium tools side by side' with Adam Harwood, University of Sussex
  *   'Using BitCurator to prepare born-digital records for appraisal' with Elizabeth-Anne Johnson, University of Calgary

Followed by 15 minutes of Q&A with the presenters.

  *   'Implementing an open-source digital preservation workflow at a financial institution' with Karyn Williamson, abrdn
  *   'Transfer Digital Records (TDR)' with Kirsten Arnold, The UK National Archives

Followed by 15 minutes of Q&A with the presenters, before:


  *   Cow-a-thon: Our webinar miniseries will conclude with a community hackathon or 'COW-a-thon,' as we invite speakers and participants in the webinars AND the wider digital preservation community to contribute their own workflows into the Community Owned Workflows COPTR wiki.<https://coptr.digipres.org/Workflow:Community_Owned_Workflows>
