Hi Henry,

I just found out about SIRF last week and have the spec printed out to read. It took me kind of by surprise; as far as I know there hasn’t been much engagement on SIRF in the digital preservation community, but it’s clearly relevant. If you are familiar, perhaps you can bring it up on one of the NDSA interest group calls? I think it’s be a good community discussion.

Thanks,

Nathan

Is anyone implementing this standard or evaluating it for long term preservation?   What features and functionality is missing, good, bad?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
