Wellesley College seeks an experienced and collaborative Digital Preservation Specialist. As a member of the Library Collections team and under the direction of the Assistant Director for Discovery Services, the Digital Preservation Specialist is responsible for the continued operation of a library-wide, comprehensive preservation and digitization program. Responsible for overseeing preservation, conservation and digitization efforts for Archives, Special Collections and the general collections. Manages the preservation activities for the Libraries’ unique digital content. Responsible for disaster planning and recovery, environmental monitoring, and exhibition preparation activities. Assists with management of the digitization lab and services.Â
