Binghamton University Libraries seeks a Digital Scholarship Librarian to
join our growing Digital Initiatives (DI) team. This position will
collaborate with other members of the DI team in the development and
implementation of library initiatives in support of current and emerging
research, teaching and creative activities in digital scholarship across
campus. The incumbent works creatively and collaboratively to assist with
the development and expansion of digital scholarship services at the
Libraries; build partnerships with library faculty and campus departments;
design and present workshops on computational methods and resources; and
become part of a community of practice for digital scholarship across
campus. This librarian will be primary contact for digital scholarship
areas related to mapping projects, research data management, and data
science fields. Librarians at Binghamton University are members of the
tenure track faculty and are expected to contribute significantly to the
