The project seeks to produce open citation data from (historical) German-language legal and sociological literature, which current tools/algorithms do not handle well due to limitations of modelling on English-language natural science scholarship and citation patterns. We also hope to gather feedback on the technical and legal implications of the mining and open-access storage of citation data.
