The BitCuratorEdu Project and the BitCurator Consortium are holding a series of free events for students and educators interested in digital curation and digital archives.

The BitCurator Environment is a suite of open source digital forensics and data analysis tools to help librarians and archivists process born-digital materials. Attendees do not need to have experience with the BitCurator Environment - only an interest in the tools and the community!

Due to limited capacity, registration is required for all events.

Please forward this email to any students, educators, or new professionals you think may be interested!

Find more information and register for these events on the BitCurator Consortium website: https://bit.ly/bcc-student-events

The BitCuratorEdu project is an effort funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) to study and advance the adoption of digital forensics tools and methods in libraries and archives through professional education efforts. This project is a partnership between Educopia Institute and the School of Information and Library Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, along with the Council of State Archivists (CoSA) and several Masters-level programs in library and information science.
