Duke University Libraries is inviting applications for a Science & Engineering Librarian opening. This is an area of rapid growth at Duke<https://www.dukechronicle.com/article/2021/12/duke-university-science-and-technology-endowment-stem-faculty-recruitment-engineering>, and the successful candidate will be joining a strong team of colleagues providing research and instructional services and collection development. This position is ideal for the collaborative individual who is passionate about providing excellent service to their faculty, students, and researchers. The person hired to this position will serve as a liaison librarian to an assigned area and work with other science and engineering librarians to provide library services to programs across the sciences. They will also participate in department and library-wide initiatives to develop and promote services in support of a broad range of areas including research data management, repositories, scholarly communications initiatives, and digital projects. Both experienced and early-career librarians are encouraged to apply.

Salary and rank are dependent on qualifications and experience; the anticipated range is $55,000-$80,000. Comprehensive benefits package includes 20 days vacation, 14 holidays, 12 days sick leave; health, dental, disability and life insurance and support for professional development and training.
