I will admit it, I sometimes give the term "dream job" the side eye. I have even used the one-liner, "Dream job? Sorry, I don't dream of labor," to get a laugh from others. But the latest episode of Material Memory "By Actions and Not by Words," featuring Dana Chandler, the university archivist at Tuskegee University, made me a believer. When Chandler talks about caring for the 600 historically significant collections in his archive, you hear the thrill, wonder, and responsibility he feels in his job every day.
