I don’t know about Samsung or Tracphone specifically, but I know when setting up hardwired VoIP (Voice over IP) phones years ago, you had to give them a location for 911 and such. I would hope that mobile phones would use e911 and send the GPS information for that, though. And you might want to reach out to Tracphone, as it might be them that are doing it, not Samsung. -Joe
