I love mystery novels and I am not ashamed. Poirot, Amelia Peabody, and even some based on teashops and home repair enthusiasts. But I do not like mysteries in job hunting. A thread posted on Twitter by the head of a search committee came to the rescue this week and "[demystified] the academic library hiring process." The writer outlined his experience of hiring for three positions and also shared some great takeaways for both employers and candidates. So check out it and maybe you will be able to solve the mystery of your next position! 🔎 Erin
