Dear all - You now have till December 22, 2022 to submit a paper or poster proposal for the 43rd Annual IATUL Conference in the United Arab Emirates, 13-16 March 2023. This conference will offer attendees the opportunity to reconnect, re-engage, share ideas with and learn from colleagues and friends from around the world. For the first time since 2019, the IATUL Annual Conference will be held fully in-person. Papers are invited on the following theme: Libraries Pushing Boundaries The 43rd IATUL Conference will be an exploration of forward-thinking in academic libraries and information services and a chance to share experiences of transforming and renewing services, spaces, and resources to add value to our organizations. Proposals should consider: - Vision, Leadership and Professional Growth - Highlighting value and quality, strategic partnership and collaboration, leading and transforming, work environments - problems and solutions - Digital and Service Delivery - Users as co-creators of services and spaces, spaces for discovery, AI and robots in the library, discovery services and systems, marketing for maximum returns - Developing Capable Citizens - Information and digital literacies, student success pathways, employability and career support, sustainability initiatives - Impact and Surfacing Research - Sharing and promoting research, managing openness, future-proofing/preservation, #Hashtag social media experiences, mapping Sustainable Development Goals Proposals should reflect international perspectives and provide insight into regional issues, with the aim of engaging attendees in networking and relationship/capacity building. A written paper will be required for the conference proceedings, however a range of presentation formats are possible. Poster presentations are also invited. The Call for Papers is open NOW!
