Sharing this call for any of the vendors in the NDSA community…

On behalf of our client, a prominent contemporary artist’s studio who
chooses to remain anonymous, I am pleased to announce a Request for
Proposals for a digital asset and/or knowledge management system. We are
presently engaged in a process to bring more standards-based, and holistic
stewardship to many decades of artistic practice that has produced
innumerable works of art, photographs, digital images, sound recordings,
film and video footage. In addition to the artist’s lifelong practice, the
materials that will be described within this prospective system also
comprise family archives, ephemera, and memorabilia. Given the rich
relationships and layers within the archives of this multifaceted and
interdisciplinary artist’s studio, we seek proposals from vendors who can
offer a system that simultaneously delivers cutting edge digital asset
management, the ability to enforce metadata standards, and the power to
establish rich relationships between people, places, things, events,
artworks, and assets.
