This month’s news:

  *   The Council on Library and Information Resources is pleased to announce that we have opened Calls for Proposals for our conferences happening in person in St. Louis, MO this November: the Digital Library Federation’s (DLF) Forum and Learn@DLF and NDSA’s Digital Preservation 2023: Communities of Time and Place. The deadline for all opportunities is Monday, May 1.   *   Registration is now open for the following events from CLIR/DLF and our affiliates:
     *   Toward Radical Imagination: HBCUs, Digital Libraries, and Authentic Collaboration, a free two-day virtual event on April 6-7, 2023 celebrating the conclusion of the Authenticity Project. Panel discussions will center on Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and authentic collaboration. The Authenticity Project, a mentorship program for HBCU library workers, is jointly run by CLIR/DLF and the HBCU Library Alliance. Learn more and register at https://authenticity.diglib.org/.
     *   DLF Forum Virtual Sessions, a special online gathering for sessions that were accepted in the 2022 program, but were not able to be presented in person. Sessions take place April 13-14 and 20-21. See session descriptions and register on the DLF website<https://www.diglib.org/dlf-events/dlf-forum-virtual-event-sessions/>.
     *   The International Internet Preservation Consortium’s (IIPC) General Assembly and Web Archiving Conference 2023 takes place May 10-12 in Hilversum, the Netherlands, with virtual programming on May 3.      *   The 2023 International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF) Annual Conference and Showcase takes place in Naples Italy from June 5-8. IIIF is currently accepting applications for travel scholarships providing full funding to attend the conference. Learn more at https://iiif.io/event/2023/naples.
  *   CLIR’s Recordings at Risk program will host a live Q&A session for applicants on March 8 at 2pm ET. Learn more about this year’s application cycle and register in advance for the Q&A session on the program website<https://www.clir.org/recordings-at-risk/apply-for-an-award/>.
  *   DLF’s Born-Digital Access Working Group’s Legal Due Diligence subgroup has published the latest posts in its Legal and Ethical Considerations for Providing Access to Born-Digital Collections series.
