The Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) is delighted to announce the
launch of our Australasia and Asia Pacific program, 21-27 March 2023.
Following the successful establishment of the DPC’s Melbourne office in 2020, we are officially launching our program in the region with a series of high-profile face to face events in Australia and New Zealand; each event focusing on the
importance of digital preservation for the future of cultural and information resources in the 21st century.
Between 21 and 27 March, William Kilbride, Executive Director of the DPC and Robin Wright, Head of DPC Australasia & Asia-Pacific will visit ACMI in Melbourne, NFSA in Canberra, Art Gallery of New South Wales in Sydney and Archives New
Zealand in Wellington to introduce the work of the Digital Preservation Coalition and celebrate the opening of our Australasian & Asia-Pacific office.
At each of these celebratory events, industry experts will discuss the current challenges around digital preservation and showcase the work being done by local DPC members to preserve our digital heritage.
