Dear All,

We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2023 Web Archiving Conference (WAC): Resilience & Renewal, 11-12 May, 2023<https://netpreserve.org/ga2023/>. This year’s conference will be held in-person at the Netherlands Institute for Sound & Vision in Hilversum, with an Online Day on 3 May, and is organized in partnership with the Netherlands Institute for Sound & Vision<https://netpreserve.org/ga2023/web-archiving-in-the-netherlands/sv/> and KB, National Library of the Netherlands<https://netpreserve.org/ga2023/web-archiving-in-the-netherlands/kb/>. Early bird registration is open until 15 March, and regular registration is open from 15 March until the end of April. You can register here: https://netpreserve.org/ga2023/registration/

The in-person Web Archiving Conference on 11-12 May will be a mix of thematic sessions, panels, workshops, and lightning talks. Our 2023 keynotes <https://netpreserve.org/ga2023/programme/keynote-speakers/> are Eliot Higgins of Bellingcat, and Marleen Stikker of Waag Futurelab. There will also be a public event centered around Dutch and international digital heritage collaborations on 10 May followed by a welcome reception for conference attendees.

The Online Day <https://netpreserve.org/event/wac2023-online-sessions-1-4/> on 3 May will be a mix of pre-recorded presentations made available to registrants a month before the conference, and live Q&A sessions during the conference. The Online Day is free to students, IIPC members, and in-person conference attendees, and costs 15 euros for all other attendees. We expect a wonderful program and discussion at the Online Day, which will be similar in format to WAC 2022<https://www.youtube.com/@iipc8855/playlists> and WAC 2021<https://www.youtube.com/@iipc8855/playlists>.

The draft program for WAC is available on our website: https://netpreserve.org/ga2023/programme/wac/.

We have sessions on a variety of web archiving and digital preservation topics, including social media archiving, collaborative collection building, using web archives for research, preserving complex digital publications, program infrastructure and web archiving tools. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Program Committee for their work in bringing the program together.
