I use USPS Priority mail to track letter sized things. They have other
options for packages. If you can get into a post office, that might be an
easier conversation to have in person with someone there about what you
need.

There are also still some storefronts for FedEx Kinko's or UPS Store and it
might be easier to go in to see someone in one of those about options.

Lastly there are still independent courier services, but that might be more
than what you need.
