Dear Colleagues,

We’re so excited to host Toward Radical Imagination: HBCUs, Digital Libraries, and Authentic Collaboration, a two-day virtual event celebrating the conclusion of the Authenticity Project this week! Join us Thursday, April 6 and Friday, April 7 at 11am-4:30pm ET for panel discussions on:

Free to register: https://authenticity.diglib.org/.

Hear from featured speakers Mrs. Loretta Parham, CEO and Director of the Robert W. Woodruff Library at Atlanta University Center on April 6 and Dr. Lopez D. Matthews, Jr., state archivist and public records administrator, Government of the District of Columbia on April 7.

Additionally, there are six panel sessions happening across the two days with 31 panelists and moderators, of which 10 are Authenticity Project alumni and 22 currently work at HBCUs. Each day will feature a community break. Event host Delrisha White will help guide you through the program each day.

The Authenticity Project, a mentorship program for HBCU library workers, is jointly run by the HBCU Library Alliance and CLIR/DLF. Both the project and this event are supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).

Hope to see you there!

With gratitude,

Jennifer

Please note: My work schedule is Monday through Thursday.
