The Texas Advanced Computing Center at the University of Texas at Austin is looking forward to hiring a Systems Operator. Among other requirements the job description calls for a profesional that will work designing, deploying, and managing data systems in an academic research environment. This includes experience managing or working with data repositories such as Fedora and DataVerse as well as managing data on petascale storage systems, and computational toolchains in cluster environments.
