Dear colleagues,
The Summer Educational Institute for Digital Stewardship of Visual Information (SEI) Implementation
Team is actively recruiting applicants for a Curriculum Specialist & Faculty Liaison, a one-year term position that is renewable for up to three years.
SEI is a joint project of the
Art Libraries Society of North America
(ARLIS/NA) and the Visual Resources Association
(VRA). This five-day virtual workshop features curriculum that presents a broad overview of the digital life cycle taught by experts in the field.
Our Curriculum Specialist & Faculty Liaisons work to recruit and support SEI faculty as well as weigh in on emerging
trends in the field to make curriculum recommendations. This position carries a
$750 stipend, requires an ARLIS/NA membership, and involves around four hours of work per month.
The SEI Implementation Team typically meets every other week, but less frequently around the holidays and the annual ARLIS/NA and VRA conferences. Working with SEI is an excellent networking opportunity and great way to build
your resume.
To apply, please email SEI’s Senior Co-Chair Natasha Bishop ([log in to unmask])
with your resume. You are also welcome to reach out if you have any questions. I would be happy to meet
with you to discuss SEI, the position, or the responsibilities involved.
All best,
Natasha Bishop
