Dear all,

Are you passionate about coding in Python, teaching others and supporting the digital preservation community? Or would you like to improve your coding skills and learn how to use Python for your digital preservation work?

If so, the BitCurator Consortium (BCC) and Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) invite you to join one of the Python Study Group Launch and Information Sessions online on Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 October!

The information session will follow a webinar format. Members of the BCC, DPC, and Python Study Group Transition Team will first provide an overview of the pilot and development of the Python Study Group as a community-based learning and training program, give a sneak preview of the content planned, and share pathways for getting involved before the study groups begin in January 2024. There will also be time allocated for questions and discussion with attendees.

This event will occur at two different times to cover multiple time zones and to enable global participation.
