I’d like to share information about a workshop jointly sponsored by eLaboratories and the Digital Humanities Summer Institute that may be of interest to some folks.

 

Please note that the application for tuition scholarships and travel bursaries closes on February 14, and early bird registration close on April 1. Discounts are also available for members of select organizations (like the Council on Library and Information Resources), or for students and staff of select universities and colleges.

 

Conceptualizing and Creating a Digital Edition

Dates: June 10–14

Location: University of Victoria, Canada

Cost: $500 (students) or $950 (non-students), until April 1

Description: This week-long, in-person workshop will explore all aspects of conceptualizing, planning for, and creating a digital edition, including document collection, selection, transcription, annotation, and publication.
