To make a lid, you also have to account for the thread on the screw part.
Need to measure the thread spacing and size of that.

If it really were a mason jar, they are standard, assuming it's a name
brand jar, and stores from Walmart to Walgreens to Dollar General will have
mason jar lids in the 2 sizes.
