Dear colleagues,
We’re excited to let you know that our
online petition to form an ACRL Privacy Literacy Discussion Group reached the minimum number of signatures in less than one day!
The next step is for the ACRL Board of Directors to consider
our proposal at the 2024 American Library Association Annual Conference in June. If the ACRL Board approves the establishment of this Discussion Group, the group will have a site and email list created on
ALA Connect, which we plan to make visible to both members and non-members.
If you signed the petition, THANK YOU!
If you’d like to continue to receive information about the proposed ACRL Privacy Literacy Discussion Group, please give us your preferred email address via
this Google Form. If the discussion group is formed and an email list is created, we’ll add you to it! You won’t hear from us again unless you opt in.
🙂 Note: If you signed the petition, you don’t need to fill out this Google Form — we’ll keep you in the loop!
Questions? Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us!
Warmly,
Jennifer Holland, University of Houston Libraries, [log in to unmask]
