Dear all, An announcement on behalf of the IIPC. We are excited to announce that *the call for proposals for the 2025 Web Archiving Conference is now open*. The conference, co-organised by the International Internet Preservation Consortium (IIPC) and the National Library of Norway, will be held in Oslo on *April 9****–10, 2025*. The annual IIPC conference brings together the world’s experts in web archiving. While it usually attracts the international community of web archiving practitioners, it is intended for an even wider audience including archivists, curators, software developers, researchers interested in working with digital content, and digital preservationists. This year’s conference title is “Towards Best Practices in Web Archiving”. The WAC 2025 Program Committee invites proposals related to five broad themes: “Curation and Collections”, “Tools and Infrastructures”, “Improving Access and Discovery”, “Advocacy and User Engagement” and “Towards Environmentally Sustainable Web Archiving”. The conference website ( https://netpreserve.org/ga2025/cfp/) provides more details about the suggested topics and submission guidelines. We want to thank our program committee for their hard work in preparing the CfP and the attendees of the 2024 conference for their helpful feedback, which has contributed to the selection of this year's proposal topics. The deadline for submitting proposals is by the *end of the day on September 11th (AoE/UTC-12) 2024*. For updates, please follow the conference website ( https://netpreserve.org/ga2025/) and X (@netpreserve, #iipcGA25, #iipcWAC25).
