I'm very happy to announce that Kathryn Michaelis, Digital Preservation Program Manager at Emory University has agreed to fill the role of the second co-chair for the NDSA Digital Preservation 2026 conference! Many thanks to both Tabitha and Kathryn for stepping forward at this crucial time in NDSA's history. Subject: Getting Ready for NDSA DigiPres 2026

Hello everyone,

Preparation have begun for the planning of the NDSA Digital Preservation 2026 conference! It is my pleasure to announce that Tabitha Samuel, Associate Professor/Digital Archivist at the Medical University of South Carolina has graciously volunteered to fill the role of co-chair for the upcoming conference.

We need one more person to volunteer to join Tabitha in helping to orchestrate the planning of our signature annual event. I can also say that both Tom Pulhamus and myself, two of this year's co-chairs, will be joining the Planning Committee to help make this process as smooth as possible.
