The 2019 CENIC Conference Libraries Program Sub-committee is seeking proposals that highlight innovative uses of the CENIC’s CalREN in libraries to support their vibrant and diverse communities. Potential areas of focus include:
▪ State-of-the-art and future network technologies, including wireless technologies
▪ Innovative applications in areas such as teaching, research, and public engagement
▪ Strategies to ensure all California communities have equitable access to reliable broadband
▪ Cybersecurity and privacy protection
▪ New statewide, national, and global collaborations supported by an interconnected R&E world
We'd like to encourage participation from libraries of all types at this year's conference as innovative uses and best practices can benefit all K12, special, public, and academic libraries. The conference accommodates all types of presentations: lectures, demonstrations, panels, Q&As, or workshop sessions in which attendees participate in activities planned by the presenters. 30 minute, 45 minute, and 60-minute time slots are available. Please visit CENIC News on YouTube for examples of previous conference presentations.
Submit your session proposals and register now on the conference website. https://events.cenic.org/march-2019/submissions-2019
