The University of Cincinnati Libraries is looking for a versatile and motivated individual with software application development skills. The successful candidate will create and maintain software, web, and mobile applications for UC Libraries' operations and services.
At UC Libraries, a dynamic team of software and web developers work collaboratively with stakeholders to build needed solutions. Developers use agile workflows with various open source tools and community-based projects. The Libraries' current portfolio of projects use languages and frameworks like Python, PHP, Ruby on Rails and .NET.
This new position will assist in supporting the existing portfolio of applications while also recommending and developing new solutions for the Libraries’ strategic initiatives including digital humanities/digital scholarship, UC Press and library publishing, eLearning and digital literacy, and information and researcher services.
