The Interfolio Coordinator serves as ECU’s primary contact and coordinator for the implementation, maintenance, training, and governance of Interfolio’s Faculty Information Systems. Reporting to the director of the Office of Faculty Excellence, the individual in this role collaborates with college coordinators, divisional personnel offices, faculty and support staff across units to ensure consistent use of the systems to meet institutional goals. This individual also works with the university's central IT to ensure compliance with the university’s data security and confidentiality requirements.

The Office for Faculty Excellence provides faculty development programming and supports to tenured, tenure-track, full-time fixed term and part-time faculty, and emerging faculty (graduate students) with the mission of “Supporting Outstanding Faculty in Their Teaching, Research, &amp; Service through Faculty Development Programming and Consultation. Supporting Student Learning through Outstanding Faculty.”

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

Implementation of the Review, Promotion, and Tenure Module (RPT)
Leading the RPT implementation team
Working with Faculty Senate and academic units to develop workflows and electronic Personnel Action Dossier (e-PAD) templates in RPT for various committee-based reviews such as tenure, promotion, annual evaluation, reappointment, award applications, etc.
Training faculty, unit administrators and staff on the use of RPT, including individual consultations
Developing training materials, tutorials, fliers, and website content related to RPT to achieve timely communication to the campus
System Upgrade, Maintenance, and Governance for RPT and Faculty180
Serving as ECU’s primary contact with Interfolio for technical issues and enhancement requests
Serving as the primary responder to RPT/Faculty 180 tickets, helping faculty, administrators, and college coordinators resolve technical issues
Leading the implementation of major system changes or upgrades
Charing or Co-chairing governance committees for RPT and Faculty 180, promoting consistent use across units and reinforcing university-wide standards regarding access, roles, and rights
Implementing changes to RPT/Faculty180 based on the recommendations of the governance committees or the needs of the academic units, for example: Creating and modifying faculty classifications, activity classifications, faculty profile selections, activity input forms, and vita templates in Faculty180 or Creating and modifying workflows, e-PAD templates, and review forms in RPT
Conducting annual reviews of roles and access to RPT and Faculty180 
Conducting annual review of uncontrolled committee entries in Faculty180
Working with library staff to review and update journal outlet entries in Faculty180
Working with IPAR and ITCS staff to troubleshoot data issues or implement changes to data feeds
Developing tutorials and conducting ongoing trainings for users across campus, and mentoring college coordinators 
Designing and implementing an effective communication plan to promote best practices and communicate system updates and changes to campus
Updating and maintaining the RPT/Faculty180 website to ensure currency and relevance
Supporting the development of Faculty Public Profile pages and data reports using Faculty180 or RPT data and creating internal ad hoc reports for administrators and college coordinators 

Contingent upon available funding.

Minimum Education/Experience: Master’s degree or a bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years’ experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Preferred Education/Experience: 

Background in library science, information science, computer science, education, business administration, or other relevant discipline 
Experience supporting implementation of new technologies
Experience with providing training and developing training materials
Ability to effectively establish and maintain cooperative working relationships within a diverse multicultural environment
Understanding of faculty responsibilities and faculty processes such as annual evaluation, tenure, promotion, and reappointment 
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with internal and external constituencies
Evidence of ability to take initiative, be flexible and work as a part of a team
