Carnegie Mellon University Libraries invites applications from qualified candidates for the faculty position of Liaison Librarian to the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE). This role involves the provision of services to support education and research in ECE, home to 63 faculty, and to 1,370 students enrolled in an ABET accredited baccalaureate degree program, and a number of highly specialized masters’ and doctoral programs. This role may also be assigned to other liaison areas in engineering or computer science.
Qualifications
Accredited degree in library and information science and/or a PhD or advanced degree in electrical and computer engineering or a closely related field. Previous experience in academic or engineering libraries or in electrical and computer engineering research and education are highly desirable.
