Unless your library is in Colorado. We have a new law starting July 2024 that requires WCAG 2.1 AA compliance. The law will institute a $3,500 fine attached to each occurrence.
So some of us are scrambling to update our sites.

Not to be too nitpicky, but the ADA does not contain web accessibility standards. Most likely, you meant that Scalar is no longer meeting WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) 2 AA conformance. WCAG 2.1 AA is the most recent version of these guidelines, but in the USA at least, the only legal requirements is that Section 508 requires WCAG 2.0 AA conformance.
Also, was Scalar even conformant before? Most big data viz software in my experience tends not to be.
