Hi All,
We're excited to announce the launch of our Digital Librarian Cohort Program! This program, funded through our current IMLS grant, offers digital library professionals an opportunity to advance their technical skills while contributing to the development of CollectionBuilder<https://collectionbuilder.github.io/>, an open source framework for creating digital collection and exhibit websites.
The program is open to full- and part-time digital librarians, which we broadly define as including anyone working with digital collections and/or web development in libraries and GLAM organizations. Five selected participants will each receive a $1,000 stipend for their participation.
Program Details:
- Duration: April 2025 to December 2025
- Monthly virtual cohort meetings
- Hands-on experience building a CollectionBuilder-based project
- Opportunities to contribute to code, documentation, and feature development
- Supportive environment for learning and experimentation
Participants will work on creative projects such as building custom digital scholarship initiatives, migrating existing collections, or exploring new frameworks within the CollectionBuilder ecosystem.
Application Deadline is March 3, 2025
