A reminder that registration for the International Image Interoperability
Framework (IIIF) Annual Conference and Showcase
<https://iiif.io/event/2025/leeds/> *closes on* *May 16.*
The IIIF Showcase (June 2) is free to attend and aimed at newcomers to IIIF
and locals. Pre-registration is required and space is limited to the first
200 registrants. Attendees will receive an introduction to IIIF, including
an overview of what it does, use cases, and how a wide variety of
institutions implement it. Attendees will also have the opportunity to
attend a 60-minute workshop, “Hands-on IIIF for Beginners,” led by the team
at Digirati <https://digirati.com/>.
The IIIF Annual Conference (June 3-4) and Workshops, Birds of a Feather &
Tours (June 5) are intended for a wide range of participants and interested
parties, including digital image repository managers, content curators,
software developers, scholars, and administrators at libraries, museums,
cultural heritage institutions, software firms, and other organizations
working with digital images and audio/visual materials.
Discounted tickets are available to IIIF Consortium members. Space is still
available for workshops and tours on June 5, but spaces are very limited.
