This might be overkill and finicky for you to set up for your purposes, but there's a self-hosted open source app called Tube Archivist which I've had success with:
Tube Archivist<https://www.tubearchivist.com/>
I installed it on my Raspberry Pi home server, and it has a web interface that lets you subscribe to Youtube channels and automatically download videos. It has a Docker deployment, so you should be able to install it on Windows, though I haven't tried that myself. I mostly use it to download train and cat videos, haha.

Subject: [Ext][CODE4LIB] You Tube Downloader
My esteemed listmates,
I don't have I-net access 24/7 so I like to download instructional YT
videos and watch offline.
Over the years I've used 3D YoutTube Dwonloaderr, Easy You Tube Downloader,
Video Download helper and 4K Downloader.
None now work.
Have you used any free Windows-based YT downloader in the past month?
Thank you,
Charles.
