Dear all,
[Please excuse the cross promotion.]
One thing we’ve been hearing from OER advocates across many institutions is
the need for more support on open education and open access efforts:
whether it’s to learn the basics, help faculty and staff understand CC
licensing, convince colleagues to substitute a traditional textbook for
OER, learn how others have implemented course marking, or better understand
considerations around AI & OER.
So, we’re glad to note registration for our June 2 CC Certificate
<https://certificates.creativecommons.org/> courses is open. However, we
recognize this may not be the right time to enroll in additional
professional development. If that’s the case, we understand. And, if
useful, our course content is openly licensed and freely available
<https://creativecommons.org/about/cc-certificate-program/certificate-resources/>.
If you are curious about this professional development option:
Our CC Certificate <https://certificates.creativecommons.org/> courses

-
CC licenses and how to use them
-
Additional considerations in open access efforts, such as accessibility
needs, traditional knowledge efforts, and AI
Beyond the basics, CC courses connect participants to copyright and open
access experts around the world, including our alumni community in 70
