I'd love to attend this, but it's at 4am local time, so maybe not.
Having said that, I've recently updated my wikidata page on ExLibris's
PRIMO's LCNAMES/wikidata integration at
https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:ExLibris-Primo
I have a list of queries at
https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/User:Stuartyeates/PeopleForBookDisplays to
help (semi-)auto-generate candidates for book displays. These basically
use the richer personal information in wikidata to generate a list of
LCNAMES of authors who match criteria of interest (gender / LGBTI /
ethnicity / connection to an institution) that can be imported into ALMA /
PRIMO to generate a list of locally-held works whose authors match the
criteria. I have an idea at
https://ideas.exlibrisgroup.com/forums/308173-alma/suggestions/49470473-linked-data-powered-sets-and-collections
to help smooth this integration. A vote of support or constructive feedback
on that idea would be greatly appreciated.
I'm also keen to hear of library related queries which people haven't yet
wrangled into SPARQL form.
cheers
stuart
