July 28th. *This year’s conference will be held in person from October
20–23, 2025, in Mexico City.
With your participation we can create a rich and inclusive program that
reflects the diversity of experience within the Samvera Community—from
newcomers exploring adoption to long-time contributors and expert
practitioners.
*We welcome proposals on all topics related to Samvera Community
technologies and the broader ecosystem of open repositories.* Suggested
areas include (but are not limited to):
- Case studies and implementation stories
- Local migrations and integrations
- Repository management and outreach
- Development workflows and customizations
- Accessibility: challenges and solutions
- Metadata practices and innovations
We encourage proposals tailored to any segment of our community, including
developers, repository managers, sysadmins, metadata librarians,
administrators, and all others involved in Samvera-related work.
Proposal formats:
- 20-minute presentations
- 40-minute panels, with a moderated discussion between panelists and a
Q&A
- 5-minute lightning talks
- Posters
