Sales pitch. While reviewed as good, more comprehensive products exist that can apply to multiple devices- your computers, tablet, and phone. If you only look for Droid coverage, you can "cherry pick" the best for Android. I have used multiple device bundles from Bitdefender, Norton, and McAfee . Sometimes your home internet service provider has a free or discounted security suite bundle- it helps reduce their support requests. I also don't like monthly fees and instead opt for the annual license - subject to the teaser introductory price that will escalate the next year unless you opt out of automatic renewal and do the "I'm leaving unless you lower the price" negotiation.

Subject: [EXTERNAL EMAIL] [CODE4LIB] Aura - Android Cell Phone protection
My esteemed listmates,
It was suggested that if you want to protect your Android cell from
criminals lurking on the net that you subscribe to Aura ($12/mo).
Is that recommended?
Have others used that or is it another "sales pitch" to ignore?
Thank you,
Charles.
