We'll share that with our patrons. It's a FT job just to remain current
with Tech security along with all the tech we should be using or cna use to
better our lives that it's daunting for those who can't spend that time or
grew up in an era where mainframe computers filled a room.

Many depend on their kids or nieces but they have their own lives so many
seasoned citizens have few options in smaller geographic areas without
access to a major university who may be geared to their students and alumni.

Thank you also for sharing for what purposes you use Signal. There tends to
be sharing of tech without the particular reason that person recommending
them uses them for or when it would be inadvisable.

Adam  - do you use Signal on both your laptop and cell? If not, Im curious
why not? I so appreciate you sharing your insights

Cason - you underscore a concern. Many of those who've fallen victim to
scams, ID theft and economic crimes have done so on Facebook and Instagram.
It wasn't reassuring when Zuckerberg testified before the US Senate hearing
without sharing any additional measures they would take to make users more
secure. I wasn't expecting details so the nefarious could prepare but he
exhibited a kind of laissez-faire or caveat emptor cavalier attitude
knowing so many have fallen prey.
