Please join us on August 5th for the second session of our Introduction to Wikidata/EMCO series, which is meant to introduce EMCO participants and anyone interested to Wikidata and to develop frameworks and skills for entity management in the Wikidata environment. This session will focus on gadgets and scripts. Gadgets are plug-ins to enhance Wikidata's display and editing. User scripts are short computer scripts written by Wikidata users that give additional functionality to the Wikidata user interface. Both can make your life using Wikidata a lot easier.

We will demonstrate a few useful gadgets and scripts and we welcome you to bring along your own favorites and demo them during the session!

The LD4 Wikidata Affinity Group is associated with the LD4 Community and investigates how libraries can contribute to and better integrate library metadata with Wikidata to improve access to library resources on the web.
